MVLionsClub.org has a NEW look!

Welcome to the Brand New Website for Mission Viejo Lions Club! I felt like it was finally time to “modernize” our Club Website! The previous website was partially built on WordPress, however this website is fully built on WordPress!

Hello Everyone! My name is Danny and I am the Webmaster for MVLionsClub.org! I am proud to announce that our Website has taken on a major “face Lift” I have spent many long nights working hard on the new design and I am proud to say that it has been complete! So what exactly has changed on the website? Well I will explain below:

First off I have made the website considerably larger. Having a more elongated website makes it easier to view all the details to the website.

1. Secondly I have incorporated WordPress into the website. What is wordpress? Well basically it is  an open source, free, Content Management System (CMS). What that means is that is allows me to make a “blog” post exactly like this one without having to change any of the HTML coding. It is very easy and efficient to use that other members of the Club could post in the blog section without knowing any web design skills. If you can type www.mvlionsclub.org; you can use wordpress. WordPress also allowed me to incorporate an efficient photo album. Click on the “Photo Album” tab on the navigation bar to see what I mean.
2. I have finally developed an online membership application so that potential members can sign up fast and efficiently.
3. I fixed the Members Only section with the correct documents

I hope everyone will enjoy the new website layout. I had a fun time designing it and I love the final outcome. Of course there will be glitches here and there on the website. So when you see them please email me the error, via the club Contact Form.
